Som Chenda, Director of Kep Provincial Department of Tourism, told Radio National of Cambodia that Kep has five tourist attractions for visitors, including: Lech Tuek Beach, Ton Say island, Ang Koal Beach, Voal Mountain and Kep National Park which attracts a large number of tourists to visit.
He said that most tourists like to take a boat and relax on the beach, admire the beautiful corals and breathe in the fresh air to help stay healthy.
He said that this coastal province is unique, with a park in the center of the city that makes it easy for tourists to walk after play with the sea.
He said that what attracts tourists is not only the beautiful scenery, but also the service and clean environment, which makes guests confident to come again and again.
"Our department went directly to the business establishments to see the establishments organized according to the rules of the Ministry of Health and instructed them to provide labels, which means that they are well organized and implemented in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism to provide confidence to tourists".
The Kep provincial administration is developing several other major tourist sites, along with the construction of infrastructure to access the area to make it easier for visitors to visit.
It should be noted that the ASEAN Clean Cities Evaluation Committee has decided to award the Clean Cities Award to the beautiful coastal province of Kep after the Ministry of Tourism awarded three Rumduol Flowers Awards to this land with a clean environment and excellent biodiversity.
